Hayes brings a deep background in creative leadership, executive search and brand building.  His ability to identify and recruit top talent has been a hallmark to his success.

As a Partner at True Search, Hayes worked closely with Founders, CEOs and investors to shape the role to deliver against business needs.  A deep network and operator experience helped Hayes lead key placements at Fanatics, CAA and Endpoints News among others.

As the VP of Brand Creative, Product Innovation, and Consumer Experience at Vermont Teddy Bear Company, Hayes helped drive record sales across several brands. His success was fueled by innovative creative strategies and new product launches, including a partnership with Make-A-Wish Vermont and the launch of the Vermont Mitten Company.

At Hasbro, he began as a founding member of Cake Mix Studios—Hasbro’s in-house creative studio and agency—and, over time, took on a leadership role. He led the scaling of the studio’s operations and drove innovation across technology, partnerships, and creative capabilities, including establishing Hasbro’s first partnership with Epic Games.

Prior to Hasbro, Hayes ran his own video production company and co-founded a content design studio, creating concert visuals for legendary artists such as Velvet Revolver, Sammy Hagar, and Seal.
